Then consider working as a Team Leader for the Positive Behaviour Service at the Disability Services Commission (DSC).

Suitable applicants for Permanent or Fixed Term, part time or full time opportunities, will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made within Joondalup and Myaree. The pool will operate for twelve (12) months from the date of the initial selection of the pool.

The Positive Behaviour Service is part of an initiative under the Disability Services Commission's Positive Behaviour Strategy. The service consists of a number of interdisciplinary teams providing services to individuals and families. Interventions are systemic, evidence-based, family-centred and strengths focused. Staff work collaboratively and flexibly in the interest of providing a quality service to individuals with disabilities.

Job Description:

The DSC Positive Behaviour Service is looking to employ experienced professional Clinical Leaders with qualifications in Clinical Psychology, Speech Pathology, Social Work or Occupational Therapy and experience in the supervision of clinical staff.

You will work with individuals and/or families and carers/support staff, provide supervision to clinical/supervisory staff and support service development within a creative and dynamic interdisciplinary team of professionals. When working in this team you will be provided with ongoing supervision and support. You will be encouraged to further your clinical and leadership skills and be supported to access professional development activities relevant to your team role. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to service evaluation.
