Job Description:
The Marketing and Publicity Coordinator will coordinate and facilitate the effective flow of work within the department in publicity; promotions & special events and market research. The successful applicant will be primarily responsible for: The development and implementation of publicity and promotion campaigns; Identifying media opportunities to complement marketing activities; Copy writing, editing and proofing media releases, newsletters, brochures, flyers and reports.
Job Requirements
The successful applicant will have: Tertiary qualification in marketing and/or communications or currently completing, or equivalent; Appropriate experience in publicity & promotions, communications, marketing or media coordination, in a fast paced environment; Experience in coordinating media bookings; The ability to build & maintain strong relationships with corporate, media & government stakeholders; Previous experience working with marketing databases; Experience with MS Office suite.
